"Enjoying your golf game can be as easy as taking up Pilates. My back pain is history and the fact that my handicap dropped down several shots has made me a regular. I am still being surprised by the connection I get from doing these core exercises and creating a golf shot. This last weekend I went to the 8:30am class. Robin kept us moving and getting us all connected to our core. Later I went to play golf at 10:00am with some buddies. I was all stretched out and feeling great on the first tee. Robin Blais - The Central Studio Owner

I graduated from Keene State College in 1997 with a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education: Health and Fitness. I have been a fitness instructor for the last 10 years, working at various health clubs as a personal trainer and fitness director. I began teaching group exercise class at the YMCA including step aerobics and stability ball classes. I have been teaching Pilates since 2003.

I have taught classes and worked individually with people of all ages and abilities. I teach a senior strength training class at the Keene Senior Center and have taught Pilates to teens on the Keene Family YMCA Gymnastics team, and lots in between! I enjoy working with beginners through advanced exercisers.

I have been a "weight lifter" for most of my personal fitness career and have competed in Powerlifting. Pilates has changed my view of exercise. I have always been conscious of form and completing exercises with control; Pilates has taken that to a new level. I feel stronger, more flexible, balanced, and coordinated since I have embraced the philosophy of Pilates, and I'd love to share it with you.
